Michael McGoldrick, from Manchester, is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and composer known for blending Irish traditional music with jazz, funk, African, and Indian styles. A master of wooden flute, low whistles, and uilleann pipes, he's collaborated with artists like Mark Knopfler, Vicente Amigo, and Julie Fowlis. His notable works include the solo album "Fused" and collaborations such as "The Wishing Tree." He's been a key player in the Transatlantic Sessions and with Mark Knopfler since 2009.
John McCusker, born near Glasgow, is a renowned Scottish folk musician, celebrated for his fiddle skills. He played with the Battlefield Band for 11 years, collaborated with artists like Linda Thompson and Teenage Fanclub, and produced for Kate Rusby. His acclaimed solo albums include "Yella Hoose" and "Goodnight Ginger." He won the Spirit of Scotland Award for Music.
