New Orleans-born singer and pianist Davell Crawford blends gospel, R&B, jazz, and funk, continuing his grandfather Sugar Boy Crawford’s piano legacy with acclaimed albums and top local collaborators.
New Orleans' Kermit Ruffins, born in 1964, is a charismatic trumpeter, singer, and bandleader known for his lively performances blending jazz and blues. Founding Rebirth Brass Band and leading the Barbecue Swingers, Ruffins has released acclaimed albums like "Swing This!" and "We Partyin' Traditional Style." His vibrant live shows often feature his famous barbecue events. Collaborated with Irvin Mayfield, he's a fixture at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Basin Street Records.
New Orleans-born saxophonist Donald Harrison blends post-bop, traditional jazz, and R&B. Known for "Nouveau Swing," he’s Big Chief of the Congo Square Nation and plays with the Cookers, Headhunters, and Eddie Henderson. Collaborated with Terence Blanchard, Dr. John, and more.

Louis Armstrong Jazz Camp All Stars Benefit Show

The Louis Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp has been providing high-level Jazz education and skills training for the past 30 years. For three weeks in July, students between the ages of 10 and 21 experience an intense learning environment of instruction and performance. Support the camp at this special performance with artistic director, Donald Harrison and special guests.

Event Time Changes

In order to accommodate the operations of the Louis Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp, this event's showtimes have been changed to 7 and 9 pm instead of 7:30 and 9:30 pm. This is the only Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro show that will have these altered time performances.

Restaurant and Table Reservations

Restaurant is Open 5pm - 10pm for dinner before or after your showtime:

  • Advance Ticket Holders can now automatically make dinner table reservations for the Dining Room online via OpenTable.com!
  • Advance Ticket Holders can also make table reservations for dinner by emailing [email protected] after your tickets have been purchased online.

Dinner Service without Advance Concert Tickets is first-come, first-served based on availability upon arrival. Kind Reminder: Snug Harbor does NOT serve the full menu inside the Music Room. We do offer cheese and charcuterie tray options. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet, and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails, and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.

Age Restrictions and Policies

This event is 13 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 13 years of age will not be admitted to this event and will not be eligible for a refund. All concert ticket sales are final and non-refundable. All patrons must have valid government-issued Photo ID available upon entry. All teenage patrons must be ticketed like adults and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while inside the jazz club. All patrons must be aged 13 or older. Sorry, no children under 13 are permitted.

Venue Policies

Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro has a STRICT No Cell Phones, No Cameras Policy at all times during all showtimes inside the music room. Violation of this policy while inside the venue may result in removal from the club without ticket refunds. There is NO SMOKING allowed anywhere inside the building, and there are NO PETS ALLOWED at any time. Legitimate Service Dogs must be wearing full credentials at all times upon entry, and the owner must have licensing papers available upon staff request for service dogs. Sorry, no emotional support pets are allowed inside at any time. Please see the Refund Policy section for details on exceptions for Ticket Transfers. Thank You.
