Born in Chelmsford, Essex, Nitzer Ebb, led by frontman Douglas McCarthy, is famed for pioneering EBM and alternative dance since the '80s. Best known for the iconic track "Join in the Chant" from 1987's *That Total Age*, they toured with Depeche Mode, influencing future industrial and techno artists. Notable collaborations include work with Flood and techno producer Terence Fixmer. After reuniting with original members in 2018, they celebrated with a tour and box set release.

Die Krupps, formed in 1980 in Düsseldorf, Germany, pioneered EBM and industrial metal, known for their "Metal Machine Music" style. They blend electronic rhythms, heavy guitars, and metallic percussion. Influential works like "Wahre Arbeit, wahrer Lohn" and "Machineries of Joy" shaped acts including Rammstein. Their discography includes "Vision 2020 Vision" and collaborations with Nitzer Ebb.
