Formed in 2015, Chicago’s Slow Mass is a fluid-cast indie rock/post-hardcore band. They released Treasure Pains (2016) and debut album On Watch (2018), praised by Pitchfork and named a best Chicago album of the 2010s by Chicago Reader.

Minus the Bear

Seattle alt/indie rock band Minus the Bear formed in 2001, known for looped beats and mathy finger-tapped guitars. Released six albums including Menos el Oso, Planet of Ice (their first Billboard 200 entry), and Infinity Overhead. Retired in 2018 after Fair Enough EP.
