Mogwai and Papa M

Mogwai, formed in 1996 in Scotland, are known for their dynamic post-rock sound, merging power and minimalism. Renowned for tracks like "Travel Is Dangerous." They've released nine studio albums and four soundtracks. Mogwai consistently push musical boundaries while leading the independent music scene.

Born in Texas and raised in Louisville, David Pajo is known as Papa M for his innovative solo work. A founding member of Slint, his style spans post-rock, folk, and electronic music, featuring expressive guitar play. He collaborated with bands like Palace Brothers, Stereolab, and Tortoise, and later joined Gang of Four. Key albums include 1999's "Live from a Shark's Cage" and 2018's "A Broke Moon Rises." He's praised for his solo albums on Drag City and work with Monade's Laetitia Sadier.
