Morbid, a pioneering extreme metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 1986. They are known for influential death, thrash, and black metal demos like "December Moon" and "The Last Supper." The band gained cult status, partly due to vocalist Per "Dead" Ohlin's later work with Mayhem, and other members forming Entombed. Their raw, aggressive sound left a significant mark on the genre.
