Liverpool-raised Irish country singer and accordionist Nathan Carter was born May 28, 1990; his family is from Newry, County Down. A Fleadh Ceoil competitor, he won All Ireland medals at 12. In 2013 he became Ireland’s first country chart No. 1 since Garth Brooks.
