Formed in 1994 in Huntington Beach, California, (hed) p.e. fuse punk rock and G-funk-inflected hip-hop into “G-punk.” They broke through with Jive albums Broke (2000) and Blackout (2003); 2010’s Truth Rising hit the Billboard Top 100.

Spineshank

Los Angeles heavy band Spineshank formed in 1996 from members of Basic Enigma. Mentored by Fear Factory, the band signed with Roadrunner Records and released their debut album, Strictly Diesel, in 1998, followed by Height of Callousness in 2000.
