Papa M

Born in Texas and raised in Louisville, David Pajo is known as Papa M for his innovative solo work. A founding member of Slint, his style spans post-rock, folk, and electronic music, featuring expressive guitar play. He collaborated with bands like Palace Brothers, Stereolab, and Tortoise, and later joined Gang of Four. Key albums include 1999's "Live from a Shark's Cage" and 2018's "A Broke Moon Rises."
