Pig Destroyer is a grindcore band formed in Alexandria, Virginia in 1997. Known for noisy, complex songs and later experiments with sludge, noise, and electronics, they signed to Relapse in 2000 and released landmark album Prowler in the Yard (2001).
Weekend Nachos, from DeKalb, Illinois, delivers aggressive powerviolence, hardcore punk, and sludge metal. Formed in 2004, they are known for their intense, chaotic sound and relentless energy. Notable albums include "Worthless" and "Apology". They have collaborated with artists like Dylan Walker of Full of Hell and Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy. The band is recognized for their punishing riffs and uncompromising style.
Year of the Knife is a straight edge metalcore/deathcore band from Newark, Delaware, formed in 2015. Known for intense live shows and a cathartic blend of hardcore and metal, their albums include "Internal Incarceration" and "No Love Lost." Popular songs like "Wish" and "Your Control" showcase their powerful sound and straight edge lyrical themes. They have collaborated with artists such as Sanguisugabogg and Full of Hell.
