Marstein, born Jo Almaas Marstein in 2002 in Kampen, Oslo, is a Norwegian rapper. A member of the rap group Undergrunn, he also achieved significant solo success. His debut EP "Medici Marstein" and single "Frida Kahlo" topped charts. His album "Frihet i lenker" showcased lyrical depth. He earned "Artist of the Year," "Hiphop," and "TONO's Lyricist Prize" at Spellemannprisen 2024. Collaborations include Annika and Kastel. He is known for his introspective hip-hop.
