Jlin, from Gary, Indiana, is an acclaimed electronic producer known for experimental rhythms beyond Chicago footwork. Her albums include Dark Energy, Black Origami, and Akoma. She’s collaborated with Björk, William Basinski, and Kronos Quartet, and scored dance projects with Wayne McGregor. Her work with Third Coast Percussion earned a Pulitzer nomination.
Unwound, an Olympia-based D.I.Y. punk trio, emerged in the early '90s with a mix of post-hardcore moods and dreamy punk.
