Panda Bear, born Noah Lennox, hails from Maryland and is a pioneering figure in indie rock. Known for his reverb-rich harmonies and sample-driven sound, he draws inspiration from the Beach Boys and hip-hop producers. His 2007 album, Person Pitch, greatly influenced indie music. He is part of Animal Collective and has collaborated with artists like Daft Punk, Sonic Boom, and Atlas Sound. His solo works, including albums like Tomboy and Buoys, showcase a blend of electronic, psychedelic, and emotionally charged styles. He moved to Lisbon in 2004 and married fashion designer Fernanda Pereira.
