Norway's Pom Poko blends jazz training and experimental flair into energetic music. Known for albums Birthday and Cheater, they draw from math rock and post-punk influences. The band, named after a Studio Ghibli film, features Ragnhild Fangel Jamtveit (vocals) and was signed by Simon Raymonde. They've earned Nordic Music Prize and Grammy nods.
