Profanatica, formed in 1990 in New York, is a pioneering US black metal band known for its raw, blasphemous sound and anti-Christian themes. Emerging from ex-Incantation members, they established a primitive, extreme style influenced by Venom and Sarcófago. Albums include "Profanatitas de Domonatia," "Rotting Incarnation of God," "Crux Simplex," and "Wreathed in Dead Angels."
