Rachael Yamagata, known for her powerful and emotive style, broke onto the scene with "Happenstance" (2004). Her album "Tightrope Walker" (2016) explores perseverance and compassion, earning praise from The Independent and others. Co-produced with John Alagia and mixed by Shawn Everett, it features unique instruments and sounds. She toured Asia successfully and collaborated with Allison Janney and Josh Radnor on "Let Me Be Your Girl."
