Holly Johnson, born in Liverpool, rose to fame as frontman of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, known for hits like "Relax" and "The Power of Love." After a legal battle for artistic freedom, he launched a solo career with chart-topping "Blast." An openly gay artist, he detailed contracting HIV in his autobiography. Also a painter, he launched his label Pleasuredome and released several albums, including "Soulstream" and "Europa." Collaborated with Frankie Knuckles and Eric Kupper.
Soft Cell, an English synth-pop duo formed in the late '70s, gained fame with their hit "Tainted Love." Marc Almond and Dave Ball, initially art students, pioneered the new wave style, reaching chart success with albums like "Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret." They scored several UK hits and collaborated with acts like The The and Gene Pitney. Despite disbanding in the mid-'80s, they reunited in the 2000s, producing albums like "Cruelty Without Beauty" and the 2022 release "Happiness Not Included," showcasing their enduring impact on electronic music.

He collaborated with artists like Moby and Ty Unwin and worked on projects like Live Aid and Live 8. The Selecter, led by Pauline Black, a key figure in the 2-Tone ska scene, is known for hits like "Three Minute Hero" and "On My Radio."
