Richie Furay, born in Yellow Springs, Ohio, co-founded Buffalo Springfield and Poco, pioneering country rock. Known for warm vocals and sturdy guitar, he penned hits like "Kind Woman" and "Fallin' In Love." He also formed the Souther-Hillman-Furay Band. Furay became a devoted Christian, releasing solo albums reflecting his faith. He reunited with Poco for the successful 1989 album *Legacy*. Cameos by Neil Young and Stephen Stills marked key moments in his career, along with a notable celebration of Poco's legacy at L.A.'s Troubadour.
