Liverpool-born drummer Ringo Starr (Richard Starkey) joined the Beatles in 1962, sang on “Yellow Submarine,” and wrote “Octopus’s Garden.” He scored solo hits “It Don’t Come Easy” and “Photograph,” formed the All-Starr Band, and is a two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee.
