Riot V

New York City-born Riot, founded in 1976 by guitarist Mark Reale, gained 1980s fame with their hard rock and power metal. Known for melodic strength and technical skill, they found notable success in Japan. Albums like Fire Down Under and Thundersteel highlight their legacy. Despite lineup changes, including collaborations with AC/DC and Molly Hatchet, they maintained popularity. After Reale's death in 2012, they continued as Riot V. The band is recognized for iconic albums and the "Johnny" seal mascot.
