Liverpool synth-pop band formed in 1979 by Mike Score with Ali Score, Frank Maudsley and guitarist Paul Reynolds. Broke through with US Top 10 hit I Ran (So Far Away) and MTV fame; won a 1983 Grammy for D.N.A.
New wave electro-pop/synth-pop pioneers Men Without Hats are led by founding members Ivan and Colin Doroschuk, with Sho Murray since 2016. Best known for The Safety Dance and Pop Goes The World, both inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Rock the River is Saskatchewan's premier classic rock festival, originating in Saskatoon. It unites generations of music fans for unforgettable live performances, celebrating iconic artists and timeless rock anthems. The festival is well-known for consistently selling out and drawing big names in rock and roll.
Carole Pope, a provocative Canadian artist, blends sexuality and politics in rock and punk. Three Juno Awards, Polaris nominee, toured with Bowie, collaborated with Elton John, and starred in cult film "Suck". Her band Rough Trade is in Canada’s Walk of Fame.
Glasgow-born Canadian prog-rock singer/pianist (Royal Conservatory). Solo hits “A Criminal Mind,” “Strange Animal”; Juno noms. Replaced Dennis DeYoung in Styx (1999); worked w/Tony Levin, Jon Anderson.
