Rodgau Monotones, founded 1977 in Rodgau, Germany, deliver party rock with humorous, often Hessian-dialect lyrics. Known for "Die Hesse komme!" (an unofficial regional anthem) and "Ei Gude wie!", they achieved chart success with albums like "Volle Lotte". The band received the Culture Prize of Rodgau. Former member Henni Nachtsheim later co-founded Badesalz.
