Judy Collins, born in Seattle, is a versatile folk artist known for her clear voice and interpretive flair. She gained fame with hits like "Both Sides Now" and "Send in the Clowns." Throughout her six-decade career, she has covered songs by artists such as Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and penned originals like "My Father." Collins' collaborations include Stephen Stills, who inspired "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes." Her career renaissance saw chart-topping success with Winter Stories in 2019 and her first all-original album in 2022. Her work spans genres from folk-rock to a cappella, earning her lasting acclaim.
Jazz vocalist Madeleine Peyroux, known for her dusky style and jazz reinterpretations, rose from Paris streets to fame with her 1996 debut "Dreamland." She collaborated with top jazz artists and has released eclectic albums, covering artists like Townes Van Zandt and Willie Dixon, and working with producer Larry Klein. Her unique sound draws comparisons to Billie Holiday.
