Steel Pulse, formed in 1975 in Handsworth, Birmingham, pioneered British roots reggae with politically charged, Rasta-influenced music. Known for hits like "Handsworth Revolution" and "Your House", they won a Grammy for "Babylon the Bandit", becoming the first non-Jamaican act to do so. Their powerful sound advocates for social justice.
Bumpin Uglies are a band from Annapolis, Maryland, formed in 2008. Known for relentless touring and a DIY ethos, they blend reggae, punk, ska, and folk storytelling on albums like Go Folk Yourself, Mid-Atlantic Dub, and Lyrics Over Everything.
New Jersey-raised rock-blues pedal steel virtuoso rooted in House of God Church “Sacred Steel,” blending gospel, rock, blues, and soul. GRAMMY-nominated with The Family Band; collaborated with Eric Clapton, Santana, Norah Jones, and Beyoncé.
Vermont-based singer, songwriter and guitarist Mihali is the co-founder of rock outfit Twiddle. He released his 3rd studio album Before The Dream (Ineffable Records), produced with Spencer Thomson, featuring Little Stranger, G. Love and Brett Dennen.
Haleiwa, HI-raised songwriter Ron makes purposeful, slow-life-inspired music; award-winning for songwriting and musicality, known for meaningful lyrics like “We Are Not Machines.”
Cedric Burnside is a Hill Country Blues artist tied to Ripley, Mississippi. His 2021 album I Be Trying won a Grammy; Descendants of Hill Country (2015) and Benton County Relic (2018) earned Grammy nominations. Collaborated with producer Luther Dickinson.
