Stereo MC’s formed in the mid-1980s, blending electronic music and early hip-hop. They launched G Street Records, later signed to Island/4th & Broadway, and toured widely. Their 1992 album Connected became a worldwide hit, with the title track a classic.

DJ Format

British DJ/producer DJ Format, born Matt Ford in Southampton, channels late ’80s hip-hop and breakbeat. Known for hits like "We Know Something You Don’t Know," he’s worked with Jurassic 5 and Abdominal, blending old-school beats with soul and Latin influences.
