Swans, led by Michael Gira, emerged from NYC's no wave scene, known for their intense noise-rock and ambient folk. Albums like Filth and To Be Kind garnered acclaim. Jarboe joined in 1986, enhancing their sound. Collaborations include St. Vincent and Cold Specks. Swans disbanded in 1997, re-formed in 2010, and continue evolving with a dynamic lineup, releasing innovative works like the 2023 album The Beggar.

The Rialto Theatre Foundation has a clear bag policy in place at Rialto Theatre and 191 Toole. The policy limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into our venues.

Bags that are clear plastic or vinyl and do not exceed 12in x 6in x 12in
One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar)
Small clutch bags, approximately 5in x 7in
