East Coast metalcore band The Acacia Strain, formed in 2001 in Springfield, MA, is known for their intense triple-guitar attack and fusion of hardcore, noise, and death metal. They gained prominence with the album "Continent" (2008), topping Billboard's Heatseekers chart. Notable works include "Death Is the Only Mortal" (2012) and "Coma Witch" (2014). Collaborations with artists like Dylan Walker and Ethan McCarthy highlight their versatility. Louisville's Gates To Hell fuses metal and hardcore with unique deathcore elements. Their debut LP dropped in 2022, and they toured worldwide in 2023 with bands like Dying Fetus and The Black Dahlia Murder. Now with Nuclear Blast Records, they're set to tour with Machine Head and Fear Factory.
