Joe Camilleri, born in Australia, rose to fame with Jo Jo Zep & the Falcons in 1975. Later, with the Black Sorrows, he delivered hits like "Hold On to Me," which peaked at number six and sold over 250,000 copies in Australia. Known for collaborating with Vika and Linda Bull, Camilleri's talents earned the Black Sorrows Best Group at the 1989 ARIA Awards.
