The Boo Radleys formed in Wallasey in 1988, rising in the UK indie scene. Their 1993 album Giant Steps won NME Album of the Year. They hit No.1 with 1995’s Wake Up! and the single “Wake Up Boo!”, blending shoegaze and psychedelia.

CUD are a British indie-pop band formed in Leeds, England in 1986. Their funk- and pop-tinged sound earned critical acclaim; they supported the Pixies and recorded sessions with John Peel. They disbanded in 1995 and reformed in 2006.
