Born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ, Lenny Kaye is a guitarist, critic and producer best known for the Patti Smith Group (Horses) and for compiling and annotating the influential garage-rock collection Nuggets. He co-produced Suzanne Vega’s Suzanne Vega and Solitude Standing.
