The Itals, from Savanna la Mar, Jamaica, are a roots reggae harmony group known for hits like "In a Dis Ya Time." They preserved reggae into the dancehall era, recording singles and LPs through the '80s. The Itals earned a Grammy nod for "Rasta Philosophy" and toured with Roots Radics. Key members included Alvin "Keith" Porter, Ronnie Davis, and Lloyd Ricketts, later joined by David Isaacs and Kada Porter.
