Laszlo Gardony, a Hungarian-born jazz pianist, is known for his sophisticated improvisations blending post-bop with Hungarian folk. Emerging in the '80s, he's worked with Miroslav Vitous, Dave Holland, and played with Wayfaring Strangers. His acclaimed works include "The Secret," "Dig Deep," and "Close Connection" with his longtime trio. Gardony studied at Berklee, performed with Art Blakey, and is a noted faculty member.
