LineUp

Seán Dagher, a Montreal-based folk singer and multi-instrumentalist, is celebrated for his sea shanty recordings in the Assassin's Creed video game series, notably Black Flag. He performs Celtic, Baroque, Medieval, Arabic, and French-Canadian music, playing instruments like the Irish bouzouki and oud. A member of Skye Consort and co-artistic director of La Nef, Dagher has earned multiple OPUS and ADISQ awards. His "Shanty of the Week" series and albums like "Songs of the Seas Vol. 2" are popular.
Formed in Bristol by friends who bonded over video games, sea-shanty pioneers The Longest Johns began after recording themselves singing in a kitchen. For over a decade, they have championed folk music, balancing tradition with reinvention and transforming theatres into communal singing spaces for contemporary audiences.
