The Silos, led by Florida-born Walter Salas-Humara, are a pioneering alternative country band known for albums like Cuba and the self-titled The Silos. Salas-Humara teamed up with Bob Rupe in NYC, creating critically acclaimed work. Despite a short-lived major-label stint with RCA, they continued strong, later featuring Drew Glackin and Konrad Meissner.
