Ian Prowse, Liverpool-born musician, leads Amsterdam and formerly Pele. Known for heartfelt Celtic rock soul, he's collaborated with Elvis Costello. "Does This Train Stop on Merseyside?" moved John Peel to tears. Legendary Christy Moore featured it central in his 2009 album. Prowse’s highlights include "Here I Lie," "The Very Best of Ian Prowse," and acclaimed live performances.
The Wonder Stuff, formed in 1986 in Stourbridge, England, rose in the UK scene blending guitar pop and folk with Miles Hunt's witty lyrics. Hits include “The Size of a Cow” and a chart-topping cover of “Dizzy” with Vic Reeves. Known for eclecticism and live energy, the band saw fluctuating success with albums like Never Loved Elvis. Despite lineup changes, they reunited multiple times, marking milestones like their 30th anniversary. Key collaborations included Malcolm Treece and Martin Gilks.
