The Yardbirds

The Yardbirds, formed in London's suburbs in 1963, were key in 1960s British blues and R&B. Known for their experimental style, they launched iconic guitarists Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page. Hits include "For Your Love" and "Heart Full of Soul." They ventured into psychedelia with "Shapes of Things" and influenced hard rock and Led Zeppelin's rise. Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1992, they collaborated with Brian May and Joe Satriani on 2003's Birdland album.
