Clarice Assad

Clarice Assad, a Brazilian-American musician excels in classical, jazz, pop, and world music. Grammy-nominated composer of over 70 works, Assad has released seven solo albums and is famous for her performances and VOXploration music education series. Widely published and collaborated internationally.

Sergio Assad

Born in Brazil, Sergio Assad is a renowned classical guitarist famed as part of Duo Assad with brother Odair. Their repertoire spans Bach to Gershwin and Brazilian music. Sergio's compositions include solo and ensemble works, notably his ballet and concerto. Winner of a Latin Grammy, their 1993 Baroque CD stands out. Sergio teaches at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
