Formed in New York City’s Latin club scene, TKA landed a break at a sweet 16 party and were signed to Tommy Boy in 1987. Known for love ballad harmonies over hip-hop beats, they released Scars of Love (1987) and Louder Than Love (1991).
Johnny O, born Juan Antonio Ortiz in Brooklyn, New York, is a freestyle and dance-pop singer of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent. Known as "The King of Freestyle," he achieved fame with hits like "Fantasy Girl," "Memories," and the duet "Dream Boy / Dream Girl" with Cynthia. His notable singles include "In the Shadow of the Almighty" and "So in Love." He is celebrated for his romantic ballads and dance anthems.
Judy Torres is an ’80s dance-pop and freestyle singer who began her career at 17. Known for the freestyle classic No Reason to Cry from the album Love Story, she also released My Soul and Love You for All Seasons and hosts a show on New York’s WKTU.
Coro, born in New York City of Cuban and Dominican heritage, is a Latin freestyle singer. Seduction is an American dance-pop, house, and freestyle trio from New York, known for their 1990 hit "Two to Make It Right". Originally formed by April Harris, Michelle Visage, and Idalis DeLeón, the group achieved several chart-topping singles. While the original lineup disbanded, members have continued to perform and release music.
