Pioneers of folk-metal, Finntroll, formed in Helsinki in 1997, blend death metal with Finnish folk. Known for albums like "Ur Jordens Djup," they incorporate joik chants. Debut "Midnattens Widunder" was released in 1999. "Jaktens Tid" hit Finnish charts in 2001. Despite founding member Teemu Raimoranta's death in 2003, they thrived with hits like "Nifelvind" and "Blodsvept." Lead vocalist Mathias Lillmåns joined in 2007, replacing Jan Jämsen, who continued as lyricist.
Kaizers Orchestra, a Norwegian band, blends rock, cabaret, and Eastern European styles. Known for energetic performances, they've captivated audiences worldwide since their 2001 debut, "Ompa til du dør." Their bold discography includes "Evig Pint" and the "Violeta Violeta" trilogy. After a 2013 farewell, they returned in 2023, thrilling fans with their unstoppable force.

MESHUGGAH, formed in 1987 in Sweden, pioneers progressive groove-infused death metal. Known for "The Violent Sleep Of Reason," they're GRAMMY-nominated legends.
EXODUS, hailing from the Bay Area, are thrash metal icons known for their intense and versatile music. They've released albums like "Bonded By Blood," collaborated with Andy Sneap, and remain masters of the genre.
Deafheaven, a San Francisco metal band, blends black metal with shoegaze and post-rock. Known for "Sunbather," they have evolved to include elements of dream pop and alternative rock with "Infinite Granite." Collaborations include Chelsea Wolfe and producer Jack Shirley. The band has toured globally, achieving critical acclaim for albums like "New Bermuda."
