Bill Frisell

Born in Baltimore and raised in Denver, jazz guitarist Bill Frisell is known for a warm, bell-like tone spanning avant-jazz and Americana. He’s released 85+ leader albums, from Rambler to Nashville, and won the Deutsche Schallplattenpreis for Quartet (1996).

Rudy Royston

Born in Fort Worth, raised Denver, jazz drummer/educator. Influenced by Ron Miles; played with Frisell, Moran, Harrell, Mingus Big Band; led 303, Rise of Orion.

Tony Scherr

New York-based musician Tony Scherr, known for his jazz style, plays bass and guitar. He’s performed with Woody Herman, Either/Orchestra, Lounge Lizards, and collaborated with Michael Blake, Sophie B. Hawkins, and Maria Schneider.
