Vivaldi's The Four Seasons with G. F. Händel and Antonio Vivaldi

The Four Seasons is a group of four violin concerti composed in 1723 by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi. It is widely recognized as one of the most famous and influential works in classical music, celebrated for its innovative musical depiction of each season of the year.

Antonio Vivaldi, born in Venice in 1678, was a Baroque master and virtuoso violinist. Known as "Il Prete Rosso," he revolutionized the concerto form, composing over 500, including his iconic "The Four Seasons." His dynamic, programmatic style, also seen in works like "Gloria," profoundly influenced instrumental music. He composed extensively for Venice's Ospedale della Pietà.
