Martyna Maja, known as VTSS, is a Polish DJ, producer, vocalist, and songwriter. Detroit-born DJ Assault helped popularize ghetto-tech, blending electro beats with hardcore, often explicit lyrics. Known for hits like “Crank This Mutha” and “Ass and Titties,” he co-founded labels Assault Rifle and Electrofunk, shaping the urban-suburban club scene and selling more records than any regional techno artist in the late ’90s.
