The Shins are a GRAMMY-nominated American indie rock band formed by James Mercer in Albuquerque, NM in 1996. Their 2001 debut album Oh, Inverted World was influential in indie rock. They’ve released six albums, including The Worm's Heart.
Weezer, formed in Los Angeles in 1992, is an American rock band known for alternative rock, power pop, and geek rock. They blend guitar-shredding with grunge intensity. Popular songs include "Buddy Holly," "Island in the Sun," and "Say It Ain't So." Notable albums include the "Blue Album," "Pinkerton," and the "SZNZ" EPs. They've sold over 35 million albums worldwide and collaborated with artists like Lil Wayne and AJR.
Silversun Pickups are a GRAMMY-nominated Los Angeles quartet. Their 2006 debut Carnavas went Gold and spawned the Platinum hit “Lazy Eye.” They earned Billboard 200 Top 10 albums with Swoon (featuring “Panic Switch”) and Neck of the Woods.
