Takana Miyamoto, from Yuki, Japan, is an internationally acclaimed pianist, composer, and arranger. Her dynamic "one-person orchestra" style blends jazz, pop, and classical elements with Japanese influences. A "Rising Star" awardee, she earned Grammy nominations for Nnenna Freelon's "Soulcall" and her album "Wonderful World" won Best Popular Album. She has collaborated with Kirk Whalum and many other notable artists.
