Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa is a 35,258-capacity multi-purpose stadium in Quito, Ecuador, opened in 1951 and named after the Inca Emperor Atahualpa, notable for its high-altitude location. Primarily hosting major football matches for the national team and local clubs, it also stages large-scale concerts, offering an electrifying atmosphere where the Andean crowd's energy is a defining part of the live event experience.
A lovable stadium of the older style. Has aged nicely with nice seats and great surroundings. I've been here for a number of futbol matches, yet it still feels like Juan Peron is suppose to appear and give a moving speech.

It is a great soccer field and the grass is in good conditions, sometimes the National Soccer Team plays there

I was lucky enough to attend the first leg of the Copa Libertadores final between Valle and Nacional. It has a very old school 80's feel with the scoreboard and athletics track. There was a great atmosphere for the game. In terms of getting a ticket it wasn't too bad. There are legal touts and I only paid $30 which I consider good value for a game of such a magnitude. If you a sports fan and get a chance to catch a game I would recommend.

A cracking football stadium that's way too big for the crowds that the local teams attract.

The court as such is in very good condition but everything else needs a complete reform, everything is too old and in poor condition.
