Melkweg Concerts 2026

This was not my first visit to Melkweg; I had previously attended a concert of one of my favorite bands there. Unfortunately, the tickets were sold out beyond capacity, making it impossible to move comfortably within the venue. Additionally, the beer served was both expensive and of poor quality, according to my partner's assessment, although I don't drink myself. On a positive note, the sound quality was excellent, and despite the long queue, we didn't have to wait for too long. The lockers, while convenient with their digitalized system, cost 3 euros each, which I found to be pricey. However, I appreciate the modern approach, although it may pose difficulties for those without smartphones or tech proficiency.

The Melkweg has never disappointed me ever! I come here at least once a month every year! Nice artists, beautiful halls and very kind staff! Even when waiting outside I always meet some other fans of an artist I'm queueing for to waste the waiting time and we even get to hang out most of the time before and during the show. The only downside is that it can get very hot inside, mostly during the summer, but the staff mostly will provide bottles of water during the show! Bottom line: best venue ever!` P.S.: Enjoy some of the photos I took there during the years! :)

I was there last week for a concert and it was absolutely amazing. Even on the back you can see perfectly the stage. The only con I can point out is that you're not allowed to bring water inside and the merchandise shop is not open during the day. Meaning that if you want to buy something to use during the concert (for example a lightstick), you have no choice but to queue again on the merchandise shop inside and lose your place in the original queue when entering the arena (since people behind you that didn't want to buy anything, can go directly to get their spot inside).

Legendary concert location in an old milk factory in the middle of Amsterdam. With a broad selection of upcoming and settled artists and bands. Authentic atmosphere and lots of concerts. Must go to place.
