Midgard Vikingsenter Concerts

Beautiful landscape with great historical value 🙏🏻 Borre should be more well known around Norway and the people at the Midgard vikingsenter do their best to make it so. Very friendly staff and atmosphere!

Nice place to visit while the main attraction in Oslo is being renovated. The main Viking house is a must to see.

Great place to visit for a family day out. Closing is at 4pm but the ground can be visited after hours, so visit the center and the huge hall ( great). And take your swim suits on warm days as you can walk down to the beach after the burial mount. We had some interesting fish and shrimp nibbling/tickling there.😉

Amazing combination of a historical museum, outdoor recreation and a cozy cafe with a stunning view. A place where past and present combine. The staff lifts it up a notch, entrance fee is just symbolic, and the whole place is both educational, relaxing and highly instagrammable.

We arrived late and didn’t have a full experience at the outdoor portion of the museum. We like the Viking vibe there. We tasted some simple Viking food and did some shopping particularly the stall that sells silver and bronze accessories. We got some bronze earrings and silver bracelet.
