Emanuel Vigelands museum Concerts 2024-2025

A unique spot outside of the city center and accessible by public transit. It's only open on Sundays, advertised times 11:30am-4pm, though I arrived a bit before opening and found it was already up and running. For some reason, the online ticket site only lists tickets available for Saturday dates, but once purchased, the ticket listed Sunday as the date of the reservation. It's an unnecessarily confusing online ticket system, especially since crowds were minimal and you can easily get tickets on-site.

Really amazing visit. The actual museum itself was very cool with amazing artwork, and the lighting and quiet of the building really helped to create an appropriate atmosphere to view the paintings. Although it is somewhat out of the centre of Oslo, it was extremely easy, quick and convenient to get to using the metro. We pre-booked our tickets online, and although we arrived earlier than the timeslot we booked, the people at the desk were very kind and allowed us to enter early. Would definitely recommend for a very interesting and underrated location to visit in Oslo.

This is one of Oslo's best kept secrets, because of the limited opening hours (Sundays from 12-16). It has the same theme as Vigelandsparken, but presented as a wall painting in a very intimate way.

One "secret" place in Oslo which is a must visit. There is no signs or panel, you will have to trust maps. The place itself has an outstanding acoustic and the murals are proper chef d'oeuvre Let your eyes adapt to the darkness and plunge into the art

Really cool experience. It's rare that you get to experience art exactly as the artist intended, so it's worth it for that alone. Expect to spend 20-30 minutes to really absorb everything.
