Vaterland Bar & Scene Concerts 2024

Interesting place. When we found this restaurant in google, we did not notice that is a kind of Metal Rock music venue. We went because the rating was high, and well, our experience was good. Maybe because we went on Monday it was a little bit empty, but the pizza was fine (good for two people).

Friendly and knowledgeable bartender. She and the cook were slammed and yet no one had to wait, all the tables were bussed and pizzas were flying out of the kitchen. Excellent metal bar where the atmosphere is perfect and the employees are beasts!

Loved the theme. Would be great to have print menus as scanning QR codes to see a menu is annoying and the menu written behind the counter is too hard to read.

FYI: Gluten-free options aren't obvious on the website, but are available in the menu at the restaurant! My home away from home. My happy place. Good music, a good selection of beer, fantastic pizza. I can recommend every pizza, the only additional comment being to be careful with Satan and other spicy pizzas, because they really are spicy. Live gigs, and the occasional vinyl plate market or DIY market. There's also a quiz (which I haven't been to yet)! Vaterland bar & scene is a community in and of itself. Join alone or with a group, no problems either way. Booking is recommended on busy weekend nights, and if there is a big concert at the scene that evening, or even when there's a big concert nearby at Oslo Spektrum.

Nice ambiance and next time I need to come earlier to try their pizza🙏 mango IPA was really good and the staff too.
