Michigan Theater Concerts 2025

Beautiful old theater for performances. Parking structure is just across the street. Concession stand is also available. Restrooms were clean. Very conveniently located in downtown Ann Arbor.

The architecture of this old theater is beautiful, though the seats and carpeted floors could use an overhaul. Plenty of helpful ushers, etc. But this show--The Magic of Motown-- was phenomenal--it had me dancing in my seat! Acoustics were pretty good, and the show was amazing! I'd definitely return to the Michigan Theater and recommend highly!

A beautiful theater. The gilded lobby is gorgeous, the bathrooms are surprisingly modern with plenty of stalls, and the seats are far roomier and more comfortable than many recently built venues. The stage is large, and the views from most seats are excellent. I had a very enjoyable experience.

Seats were super comfy. I could see the stage and performer clearly. Excellent sound quality. Lobby area is a bit congested, but to be expected with 1500 people inside! Parking close by, tons of food options within walking distance. First time at the theatre & will go back to see other shows!!

The theatre is always a beautiful place to go and the live organ music is phenomenal! I do have to share that the CatVideoFest was not what I expected. Last year, the theatre was packed and everyone was laughing at the clips. This year the clips were short movies and had a humanitarian theme (feral cat colonies, TNR). It is great to advocate for these animals and in an artsy way, but we just wanted to laugh today, Mother's Day.
